A psychic and shamanic practitioner recently sat down for an interview that every Sasquatch researcher should hear. Ginger Lockwood, who describes herself as a friend and experiencer of both Bigfoot and the Fay, shared some jaw-dropping accounts of her ongoing encounters in the Georgia wilderness.
What makes Ginger's perspective so unique is her approach. She's a telepathic communicator with these beings, and she actively avoids watching scary Bigfoot content to maintain a protected mental space. As she explained in the conversation, she doesn't want fear-based stories influencing her when she's out in the woods with them. That mindset alone sets her apart from a lot of researchers in the field.
One of the most fascinating things she discussed was the phenomenon of "ground sticks." These are sticks deliberately placed upright in the ground, sometimes in patterns, and they're considered one of the most compelling forms of physical evidence in Sasquatch research. Many researchers believe these structures serve as territorial markers or a form of communication between family groups. Ginger mentioned that Bigfoot actually taught her how to make these structures, and they continue to leave them in her yard as a sign they're still visiting. Her husband even found a particularly large one recently while they were doing yard work.
The bulk of her recent encounters happened at a wildlife refuge campground about 45 minutes from her home. This place is apparently extremely active. She learned about it through Ara, a well-known figure in the Bigfoot research community who used to bring groups camping there once a year. The first night Ginger and her husband visited, they crossed a road and saw strange lights waving back and forth before witnessing two Sasquatch appear about 15 feet in front of them. One was standing upright, and the other was on the ground in that distinctive spider-crawl position researchers often call the "Nightcrawler" stance.
That particular Nightcrawler has apparently been encountered by many people at this location and even appears in published Bigfoot books. Ginger described seeing beautiful blue eye shine that shifted to green right in front of her, while a juvenile stood nearby with white eye shine. Eye shine coloration is a commonly reported detail in Sasquatch encounters, with witnesses describing everything from white to blue to green to red reflections.
But the encounter that really stood out happened earlier this year when Ginger and her husband were walking a trail in pitch darkness. They prefer not to use flashlights, believing it leads to more activity. This time, however, she had a flashlight and was shining it directly on the source of loud bipedal footsteps coming down a hill toward them. Despite the light, they couldn't see anything. The being was cloaked. It walked right in front of them on the trail and stopped about four feet away.
Then something extraordinary happened. Ginger decided to try scrying, which is an ancient practice of staring at a fixed point to receive visions or see beyond the physical. The moment she started scrying at where the feet should be, the Sasquatch jumped back six to eight feet. It knew what she was doing and apparently didn't want to be seen through that method. That's a level of awareness and intelligence that should give anyone pause.
Ginger also mentioned another location she calls "Hoody's place," where a Bigfoot actually hooted at her. She found this spot almost by accident, turning down a street she didn't know led to a large park with hiking trails. The Sasquatch literally drew her there. She also referenced a place recommended by someone named Sam, where she had a close encounter with eye shine walking right next to her.
The interview touches on her work with the Fay as well, which adds another layer to her experiences. Her shamanic background gives her a completely different lens through which to view these encounters compared to traditional researchers.
This conversation is worth the watch for anyone serious about understanding the full scope of what Sasquatch encounters can look like. Ginger's combination of psychic ability, shamanic practice, and direct physical encounters makes her perspective invaluable to the research community.
