Tree Planter Recounts Close Sasquatch Encounter in Remote BC

It features a firsthand account from a man who had a close encounter with what he believes were Sasquatch while working a tree planting contract in the remote wilderness of northern British Columbia back in 2003 or 2004. The witness comes across as incredibly credible. His father spent 35 years as a conservation officer and problem wildlife manager in southern Alberta, handling everything from dangerous bears to search and rescue operations. The old man was also an expert tracker who trained other conservation officers and even border patrol personnel. Growing up in that environment, the witness learned tracking and hunting from one of the best, which gives his observations a lot of weight. The encounter happened in one of the most isolated spots imaginable. The crew was heli-planting, meaning they flew in by helicopter to a cut block off the Alaska Highway, somewhere between mile markers 101 and 127, accessed via a forestry road called Gundy. The closest settlement was a gas station camp called Wonowan, and the next nearest was Pink Mountain. That's some of the lowest population density on the planet.
