Cavers Injured by Hairy Creature Fleeing Deep Cave

There's a video floating around YouTube right now from the channel Real Eyes Tv that tells one of the most unsettling cave exploration stories I've come across in a while, and honestly, it left me with more questions than answers.
The story follows three friends, Maxwell, Adam, and Paul, who had been planning a cave exploration trip for weeks. The cave in question hadn't been touched since 1994, which already sets the mood. No recent information, no recent visitors, just a forgotten hole in the ground waiting for someone curious enough to wander in. They bought a brand new camera specifically to document the trip for their caving blog, and Maxwell talked the others into staying overnight inside the cave, something they had never done before.
The drive alone sounds like a nightmare. They had to park their car miles away because the road deteriorated into something that barely resembled a path. Adam was already uneasy, putting his hand on Maxwell's shoulder and saying it felt unsafe. Maxwell pushed forward because, well, the blog post had gotten more hits than any of their previous ones, and they had invested in new gear. Content creator logic at its finest, and possibly the worst decision these guys ever made.
Before they even reached the cave entrance, something caught Paul's attention. A rustling in the bushes. Whatever it was, it was big, hairy, and close enough to send all three of them sprinting back to the car. They retreated to a truck stop, ate breakfast, and napped for a few hours, hoping whatever creature they had disturbed would move on. Spoiler alert, it didn't.
When they returned and finally entered the cave, things got even stranger. The cave was massive, with an antichamber and a tunnel about seven feet up from the ground. Once they climbed up and ventured down the main tunnel, they found three branching tunnels ahead of them. That's when they heard it, a rumbling sound that grew louder and louder, coming from one of the tunnels. No rain was falling inside the cave. No water was visible. The sound was close.
Adam, bless his brave soul, stepped toward the tunnel to investigate. He handed the camera to Paul to record. And then everything happened at once. A massive, hair-covered figure emerged from the darkness and raked its nails across Adam's arm. The men bolted. Paul felt his ankle pop on the landing but adrenaline carried him down the trail, supported between Maxwell and Adam. By the time they reached the emergency room, Adam's wound had already festered into an angry red mess oozing greenish-yellow discharge, and Paul's ankle looked like a purple grapefruit.
Now here's where it gets really interesting, and frankly, a little eerie. The men posted their footage online, and while some skeptics claimed their refusal to return proved it was a hoax, a research group actually contacted them and offered to retrieve the gear they had left behind inside the cave. The researchers never made it in. Trees were knocked down across the trail, and man-sized boulders were stacked to block the cave entrance.
If you've spent any time researching Sasquatch behavior, you already know that blocking access to a location is a documented pattern. Witnesses and researchers across the country have reported finding trees deliberately knocked over across trails, rocks rearranged, and natural barriers constructed in ways that suggest intentional effort. The theory among many in the field is that these creatures are highly intelligent and territorial, and they don't appreciate uninvited guests. What happened at this cave fits that pattern disturbingly well.
The video does a solid job walking through the entire encounter with enough detail to keep you hooked, and the narration builds tension in all the right places. It's worth the watch if you want to hear the full story straight from the channel that covered it.
Check it out on Real Eyes Tv and decide for yourself what was waiting in that cave.
