North Carolina Researcher Shares Years of Bigfoot Track Evidence

Host William Jevning, a two-time witness and field researcher with over four decades in the field, sits down with Scott from central North Carolina to discuss some seriously compelling track discoveries spanning three consecutive years.
Scott relocated from Ohio and became fascinated with the history of his new area. After uncovering newspaper articles from the 1960s through the 1990s documenting sightings near a major river, he began investigating the corridor methodically. His approach is impressive — leaving audio recorders along the riverbank paid off in the spring of 2018 when he captured bipedal walking sounds at approximately 3:30 AM.
The real evidence, however, came in the form of footprints. Beginning in March 2019, following a major flood, Scott discovered approximately 50 small prints measuring 8 to 9 inches scattered throughout mud puddles and sandbars. The detail was remarkable — flat impressions with what appeared to be a mid-tarsal break, and heels nearly as wide as the ball of the foot. For scale, he placed a Q-tip next to one particularly tiny print, which Jevning identified as likely belonging to a juvenile.
The consistency is what makes this case stand out. Similar prints appeared again in February 2020 after another flood, and then on January 27, 2021, following rainfall. The pattern is striking — all discoveries occurred during late winter or early spring, in cold conditions with highs in the 30s and 40s, in terrain littered with broken glass, briars, and trash that no reasonable person would traverse barefoot.
Jevning highlights several distinguishing features during the conversation. The width of the heel relative to the ball of the foot is a major indicator, as is the flat morphology. He also explains how Sasquatch locomotion differs from typical human walking — rather than the heel-to-toe roll, these beings tend to pick their feet up and place them straight down. Scott observed that many prints showed distinct toe gripping in the substrate, even on relatively flat surfaces.
Jevning also touches on footprint diversity, mentioning four main type groupings with 22 variations, which accounts for why some prints appear wider while others look narrower. This is crucial context for researchers who might dismiss tracks based on perceived inconsistencies in morphology. The mid-tarsal break, often considered a hallmark feature in Sasquatch tracks, is also discussed in detail, along with how the foot strikes the ground differently than a human foot.
Scott's documentation represents the kind of patient, long-term fieldwork that builds credible cases. The combination of audio recordings, historical research, and consistent yearly track discoveries along a known wildlife corridor makes this a compelling watch. River corridors are well-documented travel routes for Sasquatch, often used as movement paths between feeding and bedding areas, which adds another layer of plausibility to Scott's findings.
