Bigfoot Researcher Details New Audio Evidence from Sasquatch Investigations

There's something fascinating happening over on the Let's Get Freaky Podcast channel, and if you're into Sasquatch research, you're going to want to check this one out. Host Tommy brought back returning guest Chris Reinhardt, who runs his own show called Real American Monsters, and the conversation gets into some seriously compelling territory. Chris has been deep in the crypto world for about a decade now, traveling all over the country investigating sightings and strange phenomena. What makes his perspective interesting is that he doesn't claim to have all the answers, and he's pretty upfront about that. He started in Sasquatch research and gradually expanded into the broader paranormal scene because, as he puts it, "things have gotten freaky." He believes it's all connected, though he's humble enough to admit that's just his opinion. The real meat of this episode, though, comes when Chris starts talking about his current projects. He's working on two documentaries right now. One is about the infamous Cells farmhouse in Texas, the place behind the legendary fence jumper video and the "tall Paul" footage where two Sasquatch were allegedly caught fighting near the barn. The story involves UFOs, communication with entities called the "ancient ones," and even an ancient language called Ogum that was apparently being used to leave messages. The investigators were ridiculed back in the early '90s for going public, but Chris says there's a ton of information coming out now that's going to blow people's minds. But the segment that really caught my attention was about the Winstead Wild Man in Connecticut. Chris lives in Winstead, and apparently there have been recorded sightings of a wild man in that area since 1895. Over the decades, the reports have been dismissed as hoaxes or escaped asylum patients, but sightings have continued through the '70s, '80s, and even recently. Chris says he personally traded with what he believes to be Sasquatch at a property called Larry's for six years before it got sold. After the property changed hands, Chris and a friend went back one night to try to capture some audio. They set up chairs in the dark, just like he used to do during his six years there, and within about 20 yards behind them, they got a crystal clear wood knock. Then came stone throws and vocalizations, whooping, the whole deal. The temperature dropped to a bizarre 40 degrees in August, which forced them to pack up and leave. They strapped their recorders to the trees and came back the next day to retrieve them. What they found on those recordings, Chris describes as "one in a million." He's never captured anything like it before. The audio was sent off to David Ellis from the Olympic Project for vetting, and it's been reviewed by Doug High and others in the community. The Winstead Wild Man legend is one of those lesser-known but persistent regional cryptid stories that doesn't get nearly enough attention. Connecticut has a surprisingly rich history of wild man sightings dating back to the 1800s, and many of these accounts describe behaviors consistent with Sasquatch reports from other parts of the country, wood knocks, stone throwing, vocalizations, and a general avoidance of human contact.
