Thermal Camera Captures 2-Minute Sasquatch Sighting on Washington Reservation

There's a fascinating video making the rounds featuring Sara Brown, who lives on the Chehalis Indian Reservation in Washington state, and her jaw-dropping encounters with Sasquatch. What makes this one stand out is the sheer amount of evidence she and her family have accumulated over the years, and the way she walks viewers through each piece of it. Sara married into the tribe about 16 years ago, but it wasn't until 2012 when she moved to the reservation that she even knew Sasquatch existed. Her husband Jonathan had been telling her stories about his great-grandfather's smokehouse on their property, where large footprints would regularly appear outside. Like many people, she initially thought it was a joke, but once she realized he was serious, she started paying attention. The activity ramped up quickly. Sara describes hearing human-like sounds in the woods, but knowing full well that her neighbors wouldn't be out after dark. The whistling was one thing, but then came the talking, and this wasn't like anything she'd heard before. She compares it to a native tongue but with a deaf quality to it, along with a deep growly male voice that's too low for her to even replicate. She's actually captured some of this audio, which is worth checking out. One of the most chilling moments she describes is hearing roaring from a walnut grove about a quarter mile from their property. She says you could feel it in your chest, it was so loud. She managed to capture the tail end of it on her phone, and it sounds like something yelling. Even after hearing that, she was still trying to justify it, until she reached out to David Ellis, an OG member of the Olympic Project, and played the audio for him. His response? "Yeah, that definitely sounds like Sasquatch." David and Derek Randalls lent them an old thermal camera, and within a week, Jonathan came running inside because he'd heard whistling. He grabbed his pistol, and from the back porch, they could hear something banging on a metal pot about 100 feet away in the woods. Jonathan shined his flashlight and illuminated two eyes. Sara turned on the thermal camera and saw something hunched over and swaying. The camera didn't record, so she held her phone up to the viewfinder and snapped a photo. The next day, they did a recreation with David and estimated the creature was about 6'5". But the real showstopper is the thermal video. Jonathan and his brother captured a two-minute thermal video of a Sasquatch after hearing tapping on a tree while the neighbor's cows were bellowing like crazy (the field behind their property floods, so the cattle farmer was in the process of moving them out). The footage is about 125 feet away, and Sara went through it frame by frame. Over 2,000 frames in, she found the moment where the creature looks directly at the camera and elongates its neck, right when Jonathan whistled. He said it took his breath away. The anatomy visible in that frame is wild, you can see a sagittal crest, a clavicle bone, and large trapezius muscles. In October 2013, Shannon LeGro from Into the Fray, Wes Germer from Sasquatch Chronicles, and a couple others were at their house. Through the thermal camera, they spotted something on the side of the property they couldn't identify. The next day, Sara and Shannon were recreating the scene to figure out exactly where she'd been standing, and she snapped a photo with her Sony handycam. They never ended up using it for the recreation because the thermal footage turned out to be something on a down log. Almost a year later, Sara was going through SD cards to make room for audio files, and she popped one in. From the thumbnail alone, she saw something in the very center of the photo that looked like a head, with an orangutan-red tone to it. She zoomed in and her mind was blown. The brambles in the photo are about 6.5 to 7 feet tall, and she stood on a chair with her arm reaching about 7.5 feet, and that was the top of the creature's head. The measurement matches the one from Jonathan's thermal video, leading them to believe it could be the same male. What really gets me is her description of the photo. You can see sun glints on the brambles, which raised the question of whether there was a second color on the creature's head or if it was just sun reflection. Years went by with her questioning that detail. There's also a heavy cleft brow visible, and some sort of discoloration on the head that remains a mystery. Sara's take on what Sasquatch is, is refreshingly open-minded. She thinks it's its own unique being with its own unique abilities, and she draws a comparison to an octopus, something so unique that some people might believe it to be paranormal. She hasn't seen anything overtly paranormal herself, but she has seen red eyes one time that she doesn't believe was a reflection. This is one of those videos that really sticks with you.
