Two Bigfoot Creatures Stalk Boys on Dark Washington Logging Road

So there's this video that just popped up on the Outlaw Country YouTube channel that's got a lot of people talking. The host, Darren, is up at his cabin in the mountains doing some fishing and hiking, and while he's out there, he decides to read through some emails from viewers. One of those emails is an absolute doozy.
A guy named Rob wrote in to share an encounter he had back when he was younger, living with his sister in a cabin in the Cascades of Washington State. Their dad was a long haul truck driver, so he was rarely home. Rob and his sister had friends visit from Seattle, and on one particular visit, they made what he admits was a "really dumb idea" — taking his dad's truck out for a joy ride up a logging road on the next mountain over.
It was late evening, and they were driving up a steep gravel switchback road thick with old growth trees on both sides. They came to a clear cut that had recently been logged, and that's where things went sideways — literally. They misjudged one of the turns, the right side wheels went over the edge, and they barrel rolled down the clearcut patch. Luckily, neither of them was seriously hurt.
But now they were stuck. Practically in the middle of nowhere, miles from anything, with no flashlights, walking down a logging road in the dark. Rob describes it as the most terrifying walk of his life.
Once their eyes adjusted to the darkness, his friend says, "Hey, there's something walking in the bushes next to me." They would stop walking, and it would stop walking. They would start walking, and it would start walking. This went on for quite a while. As Rob points out in his email — what animal does that? Animals usually run away from you. This behavior was odd.
Then things got even stranger. The thing suddenly moved from his friend's side of the road to the other side — and it moved so fast it could switch sides in seconds, running circles around them. Once in a while, they could see it crossing the road in front of them, and it was running on two legs. Bipedal. No doubt about it.
Armed with nothing but big lighters, they flicked them hoping the sparks would scare it off. They were totally freaked out, not knowing what would happen next. And then — another one shows up. Now there's one on each side of them.
The email cuts off there, but you get the picture. Two bipedal creatures stalking two teenagers in the dark in the Cascades of Washington. That's the kind of encounter that stays with you for life.
The Cascades are well-known territory for Sasquatch activity. Washington State has a long history of sightings, with the Mount St. Helens area and the Gifford Pinchot National Forest being hotspots. The dense old growth forests, the rugged terrain, the remote logging roads — it's exactly the kind of environment where these beings thrive. They're known to be curious, sometimes following people, sometimes exhibiting that parallel walking behavior that Rob described. The bipedal movement, the speed, the ability to move silently through thick brush — all of it lines up with countless other reports over the years.
What's interesting about Rob's account is how matter-of-fact it is. He's not trying to sell anything. He's just sharing what happened to him as a kid. And the details are so specific — the logging road, the clear cut, the barrel roll, the dark walk home — that it reads like a genuine memory, not something fabricated.
The video itself is worth checking out. Darren spends the first part hiking and showing off his Irish Setter Elk Tracker boots (which he swears by, by the way), talks about how low the river levels are, mentions a bear that chewed up one of his game cameras, and updates everyone on his new puppy Rocky. But the real meat of the video is that email. It's a slow build that turns into something you don't want to stop listening to.
Definitely worth the watch if you haven't seen it yet.
