So, I just stumbled across this wild video over on The Cryptid Huntress channel, and let me tell you, this one had me glued to the screen. Jessica Jones, the host, teamed up with author Eric Tester (who also goes by Edy Tesherman and runs his own channel called The Bizarre and the Unknown) to dive deep into something called the Flintville Monster out of Tennessee. And folks, this isn't your average, run-of-the-mill Sasquatch sighting story. This creature has a reputation, and that reputation is... it chooses violence.
Now, if you've spent any time researching Sasquatch encounters, you know that most reports describe these beings as elusive, shy, and more interested in avoiding humans than engaging with them. But the Flintville Monster? That's a whole different ballgame. The reports coming out of this small Tennessee town paint a picture of something far more aggressive and terrifying than what you'd typically expect.
The story really kicks off back in 1976 when a Flintville resident told local police that her car was slapped by a massive hairy arm reaching out from the brush along a rural road. The impact snapped her antenna clean off, and then things got even worse. The creature reportedly climbed onto the roof of her vehicle, bouncing up and down and actually denting the roof inward. She described it as a giant, hairy monster. The local newspaper picked up the story, and just like that, the Flintville Monster became part of local legend.
But it didn't stop there. For years after that initial incident, residents came forward with accounts of violent encounters. People reported being chased, having objects thrown at them, and even attempted kidnappings. And here's what makes this case particularly chilling: this creature didn't seem to care about age or gender. Men, women, and children were all targeted.
The descriptions of the creature are fascinating and, honestly, a little unsettling. Witnesses describe it as standing between seven and eight feet tall, with an incredibly muscular, humanoid build. Some folks say it was covered in dark hair, while others insist it was white or grayish in color. Its face was described as grotesque, with a mix of human and ape-like features. And then there are those eyes. Witnesses reported deep-set eyes that glowed red. Sharp teeth. And a stench so horrible it was compared to a skunk or a rotting carcass.
What really caught my attention about this video is that Jessica actually had this creature remote viewed. If you're not familiar with remote viewing, it's a practice where a viewer attempts to gather information about a distant or unseen target using extrasensory perception. The results, according to Jessica, were "quite astonishing." She mentions that all of her remote viewing data is available over on her Patreon for anyone who wants to take a deeper dive into the findings.
Eric Tester brought some really interesting perspective to the conversation. He pointed out something that a lot of researchers have noticed over the years: older Sasquatch individuals tend to be reported as far more aggressive than younger ones. He raised some compelling questions about why this might be. Is it because older individuals can't hunt as effectively as they once could? Is it some kind of territorial behavior, like that old man on the porch yelling "GET OFF MY LAWN"? Or could there be something chemically different happening in their biology that makes them more aggressive? He also mentioned the possibility that these could be a different type of being entirely, something that doesn't quite fit the typical Sasquatch profile.
The conversation also touched on the Alabama White Thing, another regional cryptid that's been reported in the southeastern United States. Eric actually mentioned hearing about this phenomenon during his time at Redstone Arsenal in Alabama when he was studying to be an ammo specialist after transitioning from the Marines to the Army. It's always interesting when people with military backgrounds share these kinds of experiences because they've often been in remote areas where strange encounters are more likely to happen.
Jessica also shared some of her own recent experiences, mentioning she had just spent a weekend in Kentucky with the Brotherhood of the Wolf group in the Land Between the Lakes area. She mentioned having strange encounters at the Witches Cemetery and beyond. She also mentioned driving through Tennessee and North Alabama, noting that Flintville is right on the Alabama-Tennessee border, just west of where she traveled.
One thing I appreciated about this video is that Jessica and Eric treated the subject with respect and seriousness. They weren't sensationalizing the encounters or making the witnesses seem crazy. They were genuinely trying to understand what people in this region have been experiencing for decades.
If you're interested in checking out more from Eric Tester, he has his own YouTube channel called The Bizarre and the Unknown, and he also appears on the Nighthawk High Strangers channel on weekends. He's also got books available on Amazon under the name Ed Dester.
This is definitely a video worth watching if you're interested in regional cryptid reports, remote viewing investigations, or just want to learn about a Sasquatch-type creature that doesn't follow the typical behavioral patterns most of us are used to hearing about. The Flintville Monster sounds like something that would give even seasoned researchers pause, and the fact that remote viewing was conducted on it adds another layer of intrigue to an already fascinating case.
Go check it out when you get a chance. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
