Minnesota Hunter Encountered Mysterious Forest Figure, Possibly Bigfoot

But then, it hunched its shoulders, dipped its head low, and turned away from him. Shannon stood there, confused, as the figure disappeared into a stand of hazelnut brush. All he could see was the back of a dark head and shoulders fading into the dense undergrowth. The way that it moved was also unusual. It swung its arms in a wide, almost exaggerated motion with his hands hanging low. Shannon, who had never heard of Bigfoot at the time, described the movement of its arms as looking odd to him, almost human, but looser and more exaggerated than a person's normal walk. Looking back now, after having learned more and seen footage and accounts from others, he thinks it's possible that what he saw was a Bigfoot. In another encounter, Shannon and a couple of friends were camping at the Lake of the Woods area in northern Minnesota. They set up camp in a clearing not too far from the water. After settling in, they were just sitting around talking when one of them spotted something standing by a tree about 50 yards away. It was tall, around 6 and 1/2 feet, maybe a little more. It was covered in dark hair, and it just stood there, partly hidden by the tree watching them. They all saw it, and they tried to get a better look. They stepped forward a bit to close the distance, but as soon as they moved, this thing turned and ran off into the woods. What stood out the most, though, was how it ran. It moved fast, but it was on two legs, just like a human. It didn't drop to all fours like a bear or any animal around there might have. It was a two-legged run, and it was very smooth and quick. They walked over to where they had seen it, just out of curiosity. There wasn't much left behind. No real tracks that they could make out. Just some disturbed ground and a heavy awful smell in the air. It smelled like rotting feet or maybe something dead left out in the sun. It was strong enough to make them all want to move on.
