Hey Squatchable readers,
Have you ever stumbled upon a video that leaves you questioning reality? That's exactly what happened to me when I came across a YouTube video featuring six compelling Bigfoot photos. The photos, captured by various individuals, remain unexplained to this day despite being scrutinized by experts. Let's dive into the evidence that supports the authenticity of these photos and see if you agree with the experts.
First up, we have the Alberta trail cam photo from 2012. This image was taken by a trapper in rural Alberta, Canada. The figure is sitting in a patch of low forest and foliage, and the proportions are not human, but closer to human than what skeptics theorize this is, which is a bear. The arm on the left hand side of the image is a large muscular arm with a visibly flexing tricep muscle, and the creature's head has a conical shape with essentially no neck, details that are very commonly reported in Sasquatch sightings.
Next, we have the Jacob's Trail Cam series from 2007. This series of images were taken by the Jacob's family's Bushnull trail cam in the Alagany National Forest of Pennsylvania. The creature appears to be bent over in mid-stride on all fours, and although it might look like a thinner-than-average bear, the limb ratios are much closer to what we'd expect from a hominin than any known North American mammal. There's also a second image of the creature captured several seconds later, where it's bent even further at the waist and back, which further cements the idea that this couldn't be a bear.
Moving on, we have the Florida skunk ape photos from 2000. These two images were mailed anonymously to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Department in Florida. The creature has a wide ape-like face, a massive jawline, and forward-set eyes reflecting with eye shine from the flash of the camera. The eyes shine strongly suggests an anomalous primate species that we haven't classified that has features that don't align with the features we know about in classified apes.
The Maka skunk ape photos, also from 2000, were taken on July 8th and mailed anonymously to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Department in Florida. The creature is of course partially obscured by palmettos, but it clearly has a wide ape-like face, a massive jawline, and the strange thing here, it's got forward-set eyes reflecting with eye shine from the flash of her camera. Now, it's been theorized by many people, including apparently the woman's own husband, that this was an escaped orangutang, got away from a zoo, or perhaps someone was keeping an orangutang as a pet and it got away, or they let it go in the wilderness of Florida. But the eyes shine really throws a wrench into that theory for the simple reason that neither orangutans nor any other great ape have eyes shine.
Lastly, we have a photo from the YouTube channel Cabin in the Woods, which features a creature sitting on its butt, leaning back on its arms, and relaxing in shrubbery and foliage. The creature's long muscular arms, coarse reddish brown fur, complete absence of neck, and estimated height of at least 7 feet tall make it difficult to believe this is a man in a ghillie suit or a bear.
These photos are just a few examples of the compelling evidence that supports the existence of Bigfoot. I encourage you to watch the video and share your thoughts with us. Who knows, maybe you'll be the one to crack the Bigfoot mystery wide open!
