A new video on YouTube from the channel My Bigfoot Sighting tells the tale of a woman who had an encounter with a Bigfoot back in 1976. The woman, who was 8 and a half at the time, was out horseback riding with a Native American girl when they decided to take a detour near a quarry. Their horses started to get antsy, but they didn't pay it much mind. Suddenly, they smelled something foul and covered their noses. Their horses' ears perked up, indicating something was amiss. Suddenly, they heard a roar, unlike anything they'd ever heard before. It didn't sound like a bear or a mountain lion. The woman's friend, who was a few years older, turned her horse around and said they were going home. The woman followed suit, but not before catching a glimpse of something dark and massive running across an alfalfa field. She described it as a big, brown man with massive legs, wearing what appeared to be a hairy trench coat. The head was round and had no neck, which made her think it was a man. She ducked down and watched from the window, but the creature was gone when she looked again. The woman was scared, but didn't tell anyone about her encounter. It wasn't until three nights later when she heard about a Bigfoot sighting in their area on the news that she started to put the pieces together. The news also reported finding a gorilla costume near the airport, but the woman didn't think it looked like what she saw. The woman's encounter has stayed with her to this day, and she believes it was a Sasquatch. She's still processing it, as it's something unbelievable that's never left her mind.
