A listener writes ?Hi Wes, I wanted to share a encounter that I had about a month ago. I?m from north central Alabama, my dad is a Electrician and I have been working with him ever since I was little.

I go to school and work at a job at a Museum and it was my day off, so I was helping him at a lake house. Before this happen, I would go out alone and do stuff around the house to finish it up, I would go on the back porch and take breaks and eat lunch. I would hear whooping sounds coming from the other side of the lake. Sometimes I would hear people talking, but I would think it would be neighbors, but come to find out the closest neighbors was a half a mile away.

So, there was no way It could be them. I have been listening to your show from the very beginning, when you only had a few episodes up on iTunes, and I knew what Bigfoot whopping sounds sound like, I have looked them up on YouTube and I didn?t want jump to conclusions. I didn?t think that Bigfoot would be near me, I thought they would be south Alabama or little north of me in Tennessee. Ok, getting to the encounter. My dad was in the attic and I was on the back porch of the lake house looking across the lake to the other side. I heard running from the left of the lake that had woods, see a deer running full speed and then I see a black looking, well at first I thought it was a black monkey that was chasing a deer, at first I didn?t know what to think, and this things was fast, I was more focused on the monkey before I know it another one comes down from the hill and tackles the deer into the water. I see the deer come up from the water and the Bigfoot that?s in the water comes up, grabs the deer?s neck and breaks it almost in half.

The one on the shore does this, all I can say is a victory yell and beat its chest. The one in the water throws the deer over its shoulder and they walk up the hill. I know I was about 50-75 yards away. It took me a long time to process what I just saw. And, I had to think about what I saw and I wanted to make sure that it wasn?t a bear. I have seen bears before but, I know for a fact bears don?t run this fast nor do they walk up hill on their own two feet. It wasn?t a black panther, I know there has been confirmed panthers in Alabama, but I looked them up and it did not look like them. They were BIG!!! Like Shaq but bigger, and I have seen him in person and I know they were bigger than him. They had black hair all over is body, the hair had to be a few inches long, but I know there wasn?t any on the face. I couldn?t see the details of the faces. From far away they looked like The Planet of the apes monkeys.
