In 1978 a man with the nickname Bongo had the most Disturbing Yowie encounter in the Pilliga bushland New South Wales, Australia.
Its fair to say he has never been the same since.
It has been reported that the happy days happy Retreat (so nicknamed by its patient's) was the Mental Hospital ward at the Callan Park Hospital (Rozelle Hospital renamed ),which closed in 2008.
