Campers report possible stalking at the north of Harrison Lake witnessed in British Columbia, Canada

[Editor has removed specific place name information, and related specifics.] I have not seen one however I was in a location that is notorious for sasquatch sightings I have now discovered...which has made me look back at an experience I had in February of 1996. We were on a camping trip, on the North east side of Harrison lake, B.C in an area that has [a particular geographic feature] beside [a creek] (I hope I have spelled that correct). Anyhow we were basically in the middle of nowhere, on a 9 day camping trip with a Chevy pickup and a camper on the back. I went out one night to chip ice off the side of the river for our drinks and had an eerie feeling of being watched - I quickly ran back to our camper. That night I woke to our camper being nudged slightly and heard a very deep sniffing sound as though something was outside smelling all around the truck.
