Strange noises heard over three days witnessed in Rutherford County, North Carolina

Over 3 day period. Just sounds! 10:30 pm 2 loud blood curdling shrieks end to end. Next evening 6 pm a horrendous roar, brief but felt a tremble as I set on front porch...sounded like a gigantic construction truck started up its engine briefly just up our hill behind two houses with woods behind them on next street. Next am 9:30 heard a distinct wood knock at bottom of street near a brook. Third morning about 9 :30 am two very loud mournful howls across the street from our house.
Branch breaking sounds retreating into woods a patch of brown fur seen retreating. This area all around us has many deer and turkeys every day pass through..
