August 1998

I was walking my dog through a field behind my house. It was about 10:30 pm. when we ( my dog and I) got closer to the woods and that was where my dog lied on the ground and started whimpering. I thought that this was unusual because she never does this. Then I heard a twig snap and I looked over towards the woods and saw what looked like a large gorilla. It was about 8 feet tall and was covered in long course hair. Then I noticed the smell like rotten eggs. It saw me and moved towards the woods. It stopped about five feet from the woods and looked at me and continued to go into the woods. The whole experience lasted about 10 seconds. After that I was running home and I heard a hooting noise coming from the woods.
