My sighting of suspicious tracks happened when I was about 11 years old, around 1958. I remember it was a Sunday morning near noon. I was the first one out of the house and was on my way to the airport restaurant which used to be our hangout when we were young. I was heading west on Queen St. and had just past Sifton Ave. and crossed a large drainage ditch when I noticed these extrordinarly large footprints in the snow on my left. There was a vacant field there where we would play ball in the summer. Now it was covered with about 6 inches of snow. These footprints were about 18 inches long and 7 inches wide with strides near 4 feet long. The 5 toeprints on each foot were very clearly visible. They were heading in a southwesterly direction towards Rosslyn Road, bordered by the C.N.R. railway tracks on the left and the airport on the right.
