Even more telling, this was no novice describing the encounter. The witness identified themselves as an experienced hunter and tracker who had encountered many bears, three mountain lions, a fisher, and countless other wild animals in the region. They knew immediately that what crossed their path was not a four-legged creature. The hair on the back of their neck stood up, goosebumps covered their arms, and they chose to leave the area rather than investigate further. There's also a tantalizing loose end in the video.
