Hunter Flees Brush After Rock Attack and Mysterious Moaning

Okay, you guys HAVE to check out this footage that just popped up over on Real Eyes TV. This one is giving me chills just thinking about it, and I promise you'll feel the same way after you watch it. So here's the deal. A guy is out checking on his hunting area, walking through what looks like a pretty thick patch of woods behind where he works. Then he hears what he describes as a moan or a groan, something throaty, coming from behind him. At this point, the guy is DONE. He's shaking like a leaf, talking about how he feels like he got zapped with anxiety, and he's making his way out of there as fast as he can without actually running. What really gets me about this footage is how raw and unfiltered it is. This isn't someone setting up for a dramatic encounter. This is a regular person who went out to check on his deer trails and corn piles and ended up in a situation that clearly rattled him to his core. The pushed-down vegetation, the broken branches, the rock throw, the vocalizations, it's all there. And the way he describes the area being "gnarly" since spring, with everything being low cover and shoved down, that's the kind of environmental evidence that researchers talk about all the time. The vocalizations he describes are particularly interesting. That throaty moan or groan sound is something that comes up in a lot of encounter reports. It's one of those things that witnesses consistently describe across different regions and time periods, which is why so many researchers take it seriously as a potential indicator of an unknown species.
