Bigfoot Researcher Documents Sasquatch Tracks and Encounter in Utah

There's something genuinely compelling about footage that documents physical evidence, especially when it comes from a witness who had a prior face-to-face encounter. A video recently posted by the Rocky Mountain Sasquatch channel on YouTube features exactly that kind of material, and it's worth taking a closer look. The footage centers on a series of tracks found near Chalk Creek, not far from Coalville, Utah, in an area that has become something of a hotspot for credible sightings over the years. The person who filmed the tracks, a man named Clint, had his own terrifying run-in with a Sasquatch in that same general location back in 2004. He and a friend were deer hunting in the late evening, walking into the wind, when they came up over a small hill near a beaver pond and found themselves face to face with a large Sasquatch. The creature appeared just as startled as they were. It chomped its teeth, growled, and then bolted into a thick grove of pine trees where it began roaring and growling from the cover. Eleven years later, Clint returned to the area and found a line of tracks that he believed belonged to a juvenile Sasquatch. The prints were roughly two inches deep, while his own boot didn't even break the surface of the ground, despite Clint being 6'4" and 220 pounds. That's a striking detail. The tracks were found about a quarter mile from the Thousand Peaks Ranch fence and roughly three-quarters of a mile from where the original encounter took place. Clint also noted toenail marks on the right foot before the film ended, and pointed out how far apart the strides were compared to his own. What makes this report even more interesting is the corroboration. Clint mentioned that a doctor and his brother had a sighting about a week after his original encounter. The neighboring Stillman Ranch also has a documented sighting, and a man named Ryan H from Morgan reported seeing one there as well. The Thousand Peaks Ranch itself has accumulated numerous sightings over the years, including one from a member of Clint's own ward who saw a Sasquatch in Holiday Park. Clint also reported finding similar juvenile tracks in Florida on the Deseret Cattle and Sintra's Ranch back in 2005, and mentioned that David Carver had sent him photos of the same type of track on the beach at Pine View Reservoir, also in a line. Kelly Shaw and his Sasquatch group have reportedly found juvenile tracks matching this description as well. The Chalk Creek area, running from the outskirts of Coalville through the Haynes Ranch, Thousand Peaks Ranch, and all the way up into the Uinta Mountains near Whitney Lake, has produced nearly a dozen sighting reports over the years. The Uinta Mountains are consistently ranked as the number one reported sighting location in Utah, and it's not hard to understand why. The primitive alpine forest there offers exactly the kind of remote, rugged terrain that these creatures seem to favor. Thick cover, abundant water sources, and minimal human disturbance, it's the perfect combination. The video also touches on a separate report from a couple who used to live near Chalk Creek and had repeated encounters where a Sasquatch would apparently look in the windows of their home. They were so frightened that they parked their camping trailer inside a barn with corrugated metal siding and locked up at night, eventually selling the property and moving away entirely. That kind of sustained, repeated contact is rare in sighting reports and tends to carry a lot of weight with researchers. One thing the channel host points out, and it's worth repeating, is that not every Sasquatch is the eight-foot, 700-pound giant that has become the popular image. There are far more subadults, juveniles, and teens out there than the elusive full-grown adults. Juvenile tracks like the ones Clint documented could explain a lot of the smaller footprint finds that researchers come across, prints that sometimes get dismissed because they don't match the stereotypical Sasquatch size. Sadly, Clint passed away a few years ago. The host of the channel got to know him personally through interviews and even joined him on a fresh investigation alongside the Utah BFRO investigator at the time, Todd Strong. Based on that relationship, the host has expressed genuine belief that Clint was telling the truth about his sighting, and that the track footage looks legitimate. The video is definitely worth watching for anyone interested in the Chalk Creek area or in juvenile Sasquatch tracks specifically.
