Louisiana Worker Snaps Bigfoot Photos While Bush Hogging

A Louisiana road maintenance worker snapped two photos of what appears to be a Sasquatch peeking out from the brush while he and a coworker were out on the job, and the story behind those images is just as compelling as the photos themselves. The encounter happened back in July 2025, somewhere in the Winn Parish area of northern Louisiana. The witness, who works for the parish maintaining roads, was riding with a coworker when something caught his eye near a tractor bush hog. A head popped up out of the brush, just watching them. He looked over at his coworker to confirm he wasn't seeing things, and sure enough, the coworker saw it too. Instead of panicking, the witness did what most of us would probably do in this day and age: he pulled out his phone and snapped two pictures. The photos apparently show a dark figure with a round head, visible brow ridge, eye sockets, and no noticeable ears. Just a dark shape in the brush, really, but when you combine that with a second witness and the surrounding context, it becomes a lot more interesting. What makes this story even better is what happened after. The witness went back to the area that evening to investigate. No footprints, but the ground had been disturbed. He submitted his report and photos to BFRO and NAWAC, and while NAWAC recently followed up with him after a long silence, BFRO apparently never responded until very recently. The fact that someone from Oklahoma City called him about it shows these photos are getting attention from researchers. The witness also shared some fascinating background. His family has about 500 acres split between a couple of pieces of property in Jackson Parish, all pine trees. Growing up, they always heard clapping and screams on their private land, and his dad talked about it openly. But it wasn't until this recent sighting that he really started piecing things together. There's also a wild story about when he was 15 years old, sitting in a deer stand with his best friend. They were both dozing off when they heard knocking and clapping about 100 yards away in a thicket. The sounds went down, came back, clapped, went down again, and repeated for about 10 seconds, covering roughly 100 yards of what was then a brier patch. That's the kind of vocalization behavior that researchers have documented in other regions, and it's always compelling when witnesses describe it in detail. And then there's the recent hand-clapping incident at his own property. He had three people over for interviews, and after they left around 9:30 PM, he was cleaning up near his tiki bar when he heard what sounded like clapping in the darkness. He called his wife out to check from the other side, but nothing was there. He admits he got scared, and honestly, who wouldn't be? What's really interesting about this witness is where his thinking has evolved. He started out thinking Sasquatch was just some kind of primate running through the woods, but after years of these experiences, he's now considering something more. He's open to the idea that whatever is out there might be something beyond what we typically categorize as a hominid.
