Hey Squatchable fans, Have you ever stumbled upon a YouTube video that left you questioning everything you thought you knew? That's exactly what happened to me when I came across a chilling account from a former park ranger. The video, titled "9 TRUE Terrifying Park Ranger Horror Stories (Dogman, Sasquatch, Werewolf, Bigfoot, Forest Ranger)", was shared by the Old Hillbilly Horror channel. In this video, the ranger shares a harrowing tale from 1996, when he was a fresh-faced newcomer to Gateway Arch. The story begins with the disappearance of a botanist named Gregor Till, who had come to study plant migration patterns. The ranger, Monroe, along with another ranger, Lacy, were tasked with finding him. They ventured down Trail 9, a place no one had dared to tread since the soil started buckling. As they delved deeper into the overgrown trail, the earth beneath their feet felt wrong, like it breathed. The trees were sick, with bark split open like wounds, and mushrooms the size of grapefruits pulsed faintly in the shadows. They found Gregor's camera first, not far from a massive hole in the ground. The lens was cracked, but the last image was still recoverable. A blurred shot as if taken midrun, but you could just make out a ridge of something pale and ringed like an enormous earthworm. Then, the ground groaned like a cathedral roof under snow, and something moved under the mulch behind them. The ranger turned just in time to see Lacy vanish. No scream, just whoosh. Like a vacuum sucking a soul out of its skin. Monroe fired wildly into the ground, screaming her name, but it didn't help. The earth split open in a mouth like gash, and something glossy and pink slithered out, coated in mucus and bits of bone. It wasn't a worm. Not really. It had mandibles and eyes. Rows of them, human eyes, too many and all of them crying. The ranger ran, leaving Monroe behind. He didn't care about the park or the oath he took to protect its trails. He just ran until his lungs burned and the stars came out. But he's never forgotten what he saw. That thing didn't just eat them, it took them. And now, after 30 years of silence, he thinks it's back. The tremors started again last week. And if he's right, no one in Missouri is safe. This video is a must-watch for any Bigfoot enthusiast. The ranger's account is chilling and leaves you questioning the existence of Sasquatch. I, for one, will be keeping a close eye on Missouri from now on.
