2007 Bigfoot Encounter Near Little River: Man Describes Encounter with Ape-like Creature

Hey there, Squatchable readers! We've stumbled upon a fascinating video on YouTube, and we just had to share it with you. The video, posted by Base Camp Chris, tells the story of a man named Dan who had an encounter with a strange creature in South Carolina in 2007. Dan was simply walking to the grocery store one evening when he heard some noises coming from the forest along the creek. At first, he thought it might be a deer or a dog, but as he got closer, the noises grew louder. He moved away from the forest, but the noises followed him. As he continued walking, he stopped to look behind him and saw a creature squatting down, watching him. It looked like an orangutan or a skunk ape, with reddish-brown hair and a long face. Dan said it didn't appear threatening, but he got the feeling that it was lonely and was just toying with him. The area where Dan had his encounter eventually leads to the Waccamaw River, and it's possible that something could live along this corridor and travel back and forth to the wildlife refuge and the river.
