Northern Indiana Bigfoot Encounter Leaves Researcher with PTSD

A chilling video from the YouTube channel Linda Eastburn has sent shockwaves through the Bigfoot community, with researcher Matthew Delp sharing his life-changing encounter that left him with PTSD. In the video, Delp recounts his experience growing up in northern Indiana, where he was a total skeptic about the existence of Bigfoot. However, everything changed for him in a matter of seconds when he encountered something that wasn't supposed to exist. Delp explains that he and his family lived on a dead-end gravel road near Sugar Creek, with their land surrounded by hundreds of acres owned by a local doctor. As a child, Delp played outside, hunted, and fished, but he thought he knew everything about the woods. However, when he was in middle school, strange things started happening around their house. They heard strange sounds coming from outside in the middle of the night, and their dogs would bark and go crazy. An odor would also come through the air sometimes. Delp's little sister and brother also had a strange encounter with a neighbor kid while they were playing in the woods. They said a monster chased them out of the woods, but their parents didn't take their story seriously. Delp continued to hear strange sounds and odors throughout his high school years, but he didn't notice it until he was a little older and started going out on his own to hunt and fish. In 1996, when Delp was 21, he decided to move back home to Colorado and go deer hunting. He had planned everything out, but the deer never showed up. Delp was about to pack up and go home when he heard an odd odor coming through the air. As he started gathering his things, he heard some sticks breaking, and he got excited, thinking a deer was coming down the trail. However, as the creature got closer, it let out a high-pitched scream with a deep growl that was unlike anything he had ever heard before. Delp describes the creature as being between 6 and 7 feet tall, bipedal, and having long hair hanging off of it. It wasn't like fur; it was long hair. The creature also had a slanky build, reminding Delp of an orangutan. Delp was confused and scared, trying to rationalize what he was looking at. As the creature got closer, it let out another scream with a growl, and a stick about the size of a baseball bat came flying past his head. Delp took off running down the trail, but the creature followed him, letting out another scream with a growl. Delp crossed a creek and turned around with his gun, but he didn't see the creature. However, it let out another scream with a growl, telling Delp to get out of there. Delp took off running and never looked back. Delp's friend noticed something was wrong with him and asked what happened. Delp couldn't explain what he had seen, but his friend said he had heard strange noises before it got daylight while hunting with Delp. This gave Delp some relief, as he finally felt like he could tell someone about his encounter. Delp's encounter changed everything for him, as he was looking at something that wasn't supposed to exist. He believes that we are programmed from a child to learn a certain system, but everything he had been taught was thrown out the window after his encounter.
