Park Ranger's Chilling Bigfoot Encounter and Camping Safety Tips

Park rangers, hikers, and drivers alike have reported strange encounters while out in the wilderness, and the YouTube channel Nightmare Hours has compiled some of the most chilling stories in a video titled "12 TRUE Creepy Park Ranger Horror Stories (Dogman, Sasquatch, Wendigo, Skinwalker, Cryptids...)." One park ranger, working on a trail crew in the northern Cascades, had a close encounter with a large, dark figure that he described as shorter than him with no visible neck and a sickly sweet odor. The ranger was so frightened that he couldn't move and watched as the figure casually walked away. Another park ranger's grandfather had a harrowing experience while driving back from London late at night. He pulled over to relieve himself and heard hurried footsteps in the distance. As he quickly finished and ran back to his car, a man burst from the forest and chased after him. A through-hiker and her family have also had their fair share of strange encounters. The hiker was taking photos of a cave system near a large rock formation when she heard a man call her name. She reached out to her sister, who could hear the voices too. They described it as sounding like several voices at the same time, but the loudest one sounded like their dad.
