It's not every day that you come across a night hike video in search of Bigfoot, especially one that takes place on Christmas Eve! The YouTube channel Sussex County Bigfoot took us along on their adventure in High Point State Park, New Jersey, and it's definitely worth a watch. The video starts off by introducing us to Jeff, a friend of the channel who hasn't been on camera in a while. The two are embarking on a hike around Steeny Kill Lake, which is just south of the North Jersey High Point Monument. They're hoping to find or hear some evidence of Bigfoot in the area. As they make their way around the lake, they discuss the fact that it's the second highest lake in the state of New Jersey and take in the beautiful night views. They also mention that the Veterans Monument, which is usually lit up, is not lit tonight due to the state not having enough money. One interesting thing to note is that the two are not using any lights on their hike, but Jeff mentions that he trusts the channel and can see a little bit due to the open sky. They do mention that they are close to Route 23, but remind us that Bigfoot can be across highways and not just in the woods. As they continue their hike, they decide to do a Bigfoot call, starting with a Barred Owl call. They encourage others who may be out there to join in, and it's definitely an interesting moment in the video. Towards the end of the video, the channel turns around and notices that the Veterans Monument is now lit up, causing their hearts to skip a beat. They mention that it's been a long time since they've done a "legit" Bigfoot howl, and decide to do a series of three howls, hoping to get a response back. Overall, the video is an exciting and interesting watch for any Bigfoot enthusiast. The night hike aspect adds a unique twist, and the Bigfoot calls and discussions about the possibility of Bigfoot in the area make it worth checking out.
