A new Bigfoot movie has hit theaters, and I just had to check it out for myself! The movie, which has been making waves at film festivals, is called "Sasquatch Sunset." It's not your typical Bigfoot flick - instead of a killer beast on the loose, this movie follows a family of Sasquatches over the course of a year. I'll be honest, the first half of the movie was a bit... awkward. There's a lot of, let's just say, intimate moments between the Sasquatch family members that might make some viewers uncomfortable. But if you can get past that, there's a really interesting story here. The movie focuses on four Sasquatches - two males, a female, and a child - who are just trying to survive in the woods. There are hints that they're looking for other members of their kind, and the writers definitely did their research when it comes to real-life Sasquatch reports. The Sasquatches in the movie communicate through grunts and howls, and there's no dialogue at all. Despite the lack of dialogue, the actors do a great job bringing their characters to life. Jesse Eisenberg and Riley Keough star as two of the Sasquatches, and the suits they wear are incredibly detailed and realistic. The movie is also beautifully filmed, with wide shots of sprawling fields and mountains, and plenty of stunning sunsets. Overall, I would say that "Sasquatch Sunset" is a unique and interesting addition to the Bigfoot movie genre. It's not for everyone, and the first half of the movie might be a bit uncomfortable for some viewers. But if you can get past that, there's a really interesting story here. I would recommend giving it a watch, but maybe wait until it's available to stream or on physical release so you can fast forward through the more awkward moments. I am always excited to see new representations of Sasquatches in media. While this movie might not be for everyone, I think it's worth checking out if you're a fan of the subject. Who knows, it might even inspire you to go out and do some Sasquatch research of your own!
